Music Therapy

Working with children, young people and adults, we as trained Music Therapists and provide face to face sessions and or online sessions in schools, community centres and day care facilities for groups and individuals. Music Therapy is a form of self expression and encourages interaction, communication, language development and body awareness. Whilst creating a safe space for all involved we are able to empower people through the use of music.

Working with children in schools

Within our school work we offer small group and class sessions using songs and instruments alongside signs, symbols and objects of reference to promote self expression, interaction, communication and encourage the use of music technology. We work with children and young people of all ages within a range of settings including mainstream and specialist provision.

Music within the Community and other areas of work

We offer bespoke music sessions within a safe environment and with appropriate instruments. We work in Hospices including the Marie Curie Hospice North East, supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, young people’s NHS services, Mental Health services and Hospitals.


Working with adults with Dementia

We work with adults who have dementia, within private homes, care homes and supported living. We deliver song writing courses and meaningful musical activity for adults with and without Dementia and for adults with learning disabilities. We specialise in using music and singing to encourage control, self and body awareness, and self expression.
